rHDPE PCR Pellets — Recycled HDPE for Industrial Manufacturing
rHDPE PCR Pellets — Recycled HDPE for Industrial Manufacturing

How post-consumer HDPE waste is processed into industrial-grade rHDPE PCR pellets — and what manufacturers need to know before sourcing.
High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is a plastic material widely used across industrial and packaging applications and can be reprocessed into recycled HDPE (rHDPE) through mechanical recycling processes. As demand for recycled plastic materials and PCR content continues to expand, manufacturers are evaluating rHDPE pellets for various industrial applications.
Regenport’s rHDPE PCR pellet is produced from post-consumer engine oil and lubricant containers collected in South Korea. The recovered HDPE material is reprocessed into black recycled HDPE pellets for industrial plastic manufacturing and blended PCR applications.

From Lubricant Containers to rHDPE PCR Pellets
Post-consumer engine oil and lubricant containers are one of the feedstock sources used in recycled HDPE (rHDPE) processing. The recovered HDPE material is collected, sorted, and reprocessed into black recycled HDPE pellets through mechanical recycling processes including shredding, melt processing, and extrusion.
Regenport sources this post-consumer HDPE feedstock from South Korea and supplies rHDPE PCR pellets for industrial plastic manufacturing and blended PCR plastic applications.
Applications of Recycled HDPE (rHDPE) Pellets
rHDPE PCR pellets may be evaluated for use in industrial plastic products, packaging-related applications, and other HDPE-based manufacturing processes, depending on product specifications and processing conditions.
Manufacturers and procurement teams sourcing recycled plastic materials may review recycled HDPE pellets as part of PCR material programs and recycled content applications.
